thredUP Sews Up $14.5M More

, which operates an online service which helps parents resell their kids outgrown clothing, said today that it has raised $14.5M in a Series C financing round. The round was led by Highland Capital Partners, and also included Trinity Ventures and Redpoint Ventures. The firm said that Dan Nova of Highland joins the board with the funding. The company said it has now raised more than $23M in funding, which it will use to scale out its platform. thredUp lets families send in their outgrown children's clothing and earn 30% of each accepted item's resale value.
