HotelTonight, the San Francisco developer of last-minute, hotel booking applications, said this morning that it has acquired fellow San Francisco firm PrimaTable, which develops inventory demand forecasting and pricing tools for restaurants. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. HotelTonight said it will be incorporating PrimaTable's platform into its own yield management system, which is being targeted at hotels. As part of the acquisition, Jamie Davidson, Co-Founder and CEO of PrimaTable, will become VP of Prodcuta at HotelTonight, and co-founder Colin Zima will become Data Scientist at HotelTonight. HotelTonight is backed by U.S. Venture Partners, also included Accel Partners, Battery Ventures and First Round Capital.
