SunPower Backs Australian Company
San Jose-based SunPower has made an investment in an Australian producer of renewable energy, the company said this week, Diamon Energy Pty Ltd. SunPower said it has acquired a minority stake in Diamond Energy, giving it an ownership of 42 percent of the firm. Financial terms of the investment were not announced.
