First Round Capital Boosts San Francisco Presence
Venture capital firm First Round Capital has bolstered its presence in San Francisco, saying that it has added Bill Trenchard as a partner in the location. Trenchard founded Jump Networks (acquired by Microsoft), had served at idealab, founded CallCast (which became LiveOps), and ReadyForce. First Round Capital said Trenchard already has led two unannounced investments for the fund.
