Akros Silicon Gets New Funding
Sunnyvale-based Akros Silicon said Tuesday that it has raised a new round of funding, bring its total raised in 2012 to $11M. Size of the new funding was not disclosed. The round was led by Technology Partners, and also included USVP, Levensohn Venture Partners and SPM Capital. Marc van den Berg from Technology Partners joins the company's board. Akros develops energy management ICs. The firm said the funding will go towards sales and marketing.
