SunPower Sells Solar Farm
San Jose-based SunPower, the developer of solar panels and projects, has sold a 5 megawatt solar farm to a group of investors. D.E. Shaw Renewable Investments and Bright Plain Renewable Energy said this week that they have acquired the West Oahu, Hawaii solar farm. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The solar installation is on property owned by the State of Hawaii Department of Hawaiian Home Lands.
