Synopsys Completes SpringSoft Buy
Mountain View-based Synopsys said Sunday that it has completed its acquisition of Taiwanese IC design software maker SpringSoft. THe deal was worth approximately $417M. Synopsys had announced the acquisition in October. Synopsys said the buy increases its investment in Taiwan, grows its local engineering expertise, and will help in the delivery of its system-on-a-chip debug products and tools.
