Ascend Clinical Buys PathCentral's Diagnostics Lab Unit
Redwood City-based Ascend Clinical, a provider of end-stage renal disease laboratory testing, has acquired the diagnostics laboratory business of PathCentral. Financial terms of the buy were not announced. PathCentral provides diagnostics testing for the pathology market. PathCentral said the sale will allow it to focus on its other business units.
