Pinterest Buys Punchfork
Palo Alto-based photo pinning and sharing site Pinterest has acquired fellow Palo Alto-based Punchfork, an online service which helps cooks find new recipes and share them with friends and family. Financial terms of the buy were not announced. As part of the acquisition, Punchform founder and CEO Jeff Miller said that it will soon be retiring the Punchfork site, API, and mobile apps, and the company's team will focus on contributing to Pinterest.
