Adura Technologies Acquired By Acuity Brands
San Francisco-based Adura Technologies, a developer of wireless communications, control, and energy management products for the lighting industry, has been acquired by Acuity Brands. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Adura Technologies had been venture backed by Claremont Creek Ventures, NGEN Partners, and VantagePoint Venture Partners. The company had been founded in 2005 to apply radio frequency mesh networking technology to control individual light fixtures.
