OpenTable Acquires Foodspotting
San Francisco-based OpenTable said today that it has acquired Foodspotting, which develops mobile applications for finding and sharing information about dishes at restaurants. OpenTable said it paid approximately $10M in cash for Foodspotting. Alexa Andrzejewski, who was co-founder and CEO of Foodspotting, will become a lead user interface designer at OpenTable. Foodspotting had been venture backed by BlueRun Ventures
