Skyera Gains $51M For Solid State Storage From Dell
San Jose-based solid state storage developer
Skyera
said this morning that it has raised $51M in a Series B financing round. The funding came from Dell Ventures, the venture capital arm of Dell Computer. Skyera is developing solid state storage systems which it says will offer lower power consumption, higher density, and better cost effectiveness than existing enterprise storage systems. The firm is led by Dr. Radoslav Danilak, who was founder and CTO of SandForce.
