PayPal Buys Duff Research
PayPal, the payment arm of San Jose-based eBay, announced Wednesday morning that it has acquired Duff Research, a developer of mobile app developers based in Sunnyvale. financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. PayPal said it will hire on Duff's team of engineers to help bolster its PayPal digital wallet efforts. Duff Research provided its mobile development efforts to a large number of startups and brands.
