Deliv Snags $1M For Same-Day Delivery
Palo Alto-based Deliv, which is creating a same-day delivery service which taps into independent drivers to provide same-day delivery of products for retailers, said this week that it has raised $1M in a funding round. The round came from General Catalyst Partners, Redpoint Ventures, Trinity Ventures, Operators Fund and PivotNorth. Deliv recruits drivers--who are hired after a background check and Skype interview--to provide same day delivery of products. The firm is currently only operating in the Bay Area.
