Intel Acquires Mashery
San Francisco-based Mashery, which develops application programming interfaces (APIs) for companies to extend out their web services to third party developers, has reportedly been acquired by Intel. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. The acquisition was first uncovered by ReadWriteWeb. Mashery is venture backed by OpenView Venture Partners, Cisco, Formative Ventures, First Round Capital and .406 Ventures.
