Palo Alto-based
LiquidSpace, a startup which operates a marketplace for empty desks and meeting space (think "Airbnb for office space"), has raised $1.3M in new, Series B funding, the firm said today. The funding came from Steelcase and CBRE Group. LiquidSpce is headed by Mark Gilbreath, and raised $6M in the initial close of its SEries B in January. Investors in that tranche included The GPT Group, Shasta Ventures, Floodgate Fund and Greylock Capital.
