Firebase Gets $5.6M For App Development Tools

, which develops tools to help app developers more quickly develop their apps, has raised $5.6M in a Series A funding. The firm said the funding came from Union Square Ventures and Flybridge Capital Partners. The firm said Chip Hazard from Flybridge and Albert Wenger from Union Square Ventures will join the company's board as par tof the funding. Hazard was previously a seed investor in the company.
