Yahoo Completes Tumblr Acquisition
Sunnyvale-based Yahoo said late last week that it has complteed its acquisition of photo blogging site Tumblr. The deal was worth approximately $1.1 billion in cash, and had been announced on May 20th. Yahoo said the acquisition will bring a "significant" new community of users to its network.
