Rockmelt has been acquired by
Yahoo, in a deal reportedly worth between $60 and $70M. As part of the acquisition, Rockmelt has shut down access to the service, and will close on August 31wst. Rockmelt's app let users share content and information from around the web. Rockmelt was backed by Accel Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Khosla Ventures, and others, and had raised around $40M in funding.
