AOL Buys Adap.tv For $405M
AOL said this morning that it is buying Adap.tv, in a deal worth $405M. Adap.tv is provider of video advertising technology. AOL said it would pay $322 million in cash consideration, and approximately $83 million in AOL common stock for Adap.tv. Adap.TV was based in San Mateo, and was backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Gemini Capital, Redpoint Ventures, Spark Capital, and others.
