Intelligent Imaging Systems, Drivewyze Raise $7.5M
Burlingame-based Intelligent Imaging Systems (IIS) and sister company Drivewyze announced today that they have raised $7.5M in a Series A funding round, for their transportation industry products. The funding came from Emergence Capital Partners and iNovia Capital. Drivewyze has developed a wireless, weigh station bypass service which helps freight companies and commercial truck operators bypass inspection weigh stations, reducing the delay in delivery of cargo. The company said the funds will go towards sales and marketing. IIS was founde din Edmonton, Alberta, and is headed by Brian Heath.
