Nokia's devices business has been acquired by
Microsoft, in a deal which is worth approximately $7.2 billion, the companies said this morning. Nokia, which has its US headquarters in Sunnyvale and global headquarters in Finland, is selling off all of its Devices & Services business, plus will license its patents and mapping services to Microsoft. It is also transferring 32,000 people to Microsoft as part of the transaction.
