PubNub Gets $11M For Cloud Infrastructure
San Francisco-based PubNub said this morning that it has raised $11M in a series B round, to go towards its cloud infrastructure. PubNub develops real-time software to help developers add such features as live location tracking, multi-player games and collaboration to mobile apps, via real-time messages. The company said the round was led by Scale Venture Partners, and also included Relay Ventures and TiE Angels. The new funds goes towards sales and marketing. Andy Vitus of Scale joins the company as part of the funding round.
