PowerbyProxi Beams In $4M For Wireless Power
Pleasanton-based PowerbyProxi announced today that it has raised $4M in a funding round for its wireless power systems. The funding came from Samsung Ventures Investment Corporation (SVIC), and is part of a Series C funding round. The company said the new funding brings that round to $9M. As part of the funding, SVIC's Michael Pachos has joined the company's board. Other investors in the company's round included TE Connectivity and Movac.
