Lookout Lands $55M For Mobile Security
San Francisco-based Lookout announced Thursday that it has raised $55M in a new funding round. The funding came from Deutsche Telekom, Qualcomm, Greylock Ventures and Mithril Capital Management, along with Accel Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Index Ventures, and Khosla Ventures. Lookout said the funding will go towards international expansion, plus to extend its offerings tot he business and enterprise space. Lookout is led by John Hering, with co-founders Kevin Mahaffey and James Burgess. The company looks to now have raised over $130M in funding.
