Yahoo Buys LookFlow For Image Recognition
Sunnyvale-based Yahoo said earlier this week that it has acquired LookFlow, a developer of image recognition technology. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Yahoo is using LookFlow to bolster features for Flickr, its online photo sharing site. Yahoo will hire LookFlow's five engineers in San Francisco.
