Paxata Finds $8M
Redwood City-based Paxata, which develops business analysis software, has raised $8M in a Series B funding. The funding was led by Accel Partners, and also included strategic partner Tableau Software. Paxata develops data prepration software which pulls data from Hadoop and other big data platforms and automatically parses and identifies the meaning behind data.
