SunPower Buys Greenbotics For Solar Panel Cleaning Robots
San Jose-based SunPower announced this morning that it has acquired Greenbotics, a Davis, California-based provider of solar panel cleaning products and services for the large, utility-scale solar power market. Financial terms of the deal were not announced, however, SunPower said the deal would be accretive to the company. Greenbotics develops robots specifically used to clean solar panels with a minimum need for water and labor.
