Alpine Data Gets $16M For Big Data Software
San Francisco-based Alpine Data Labs said today that it has raised $16M in a Series B funding round. The developer of analytics software for Hadoop said the funding came from Sierra Ventures, Mission Ventures, UMC Capital, and Robert Bosch Venture Capital GmbH. Alpine Data Labs' software is used for predictive analytics.
