Box, the cloud-based, enterprise storage provider, said Thursday that it has raised $100M in a new funding round. The funding was reported to value the company at $2 billion. The funding came from Itochu Technology Ventures, Inc., Macnica, and Mitsui USA and MKI, Telefonica Digital, Telstra, Coatue, DST Global, along with other prior backers. The company said the funding came as part of an international expansion and strategic partnerships.
