Ooyala Takes $43M In Big Web Video Analytics Funding
Mountain View-based Ooyala announced today that it has raised $43M in a funding round, for the company's web video streaming and analytics products. The funding came from Australia's Telstra. Ooyala's other backers include Sierra Ventures, Rembrand Ventures, CID Group, among others. The firm said the funding goes towards engineering efforts, as well as domestic and international growth. Ooyala is led by Jay Fulcher.
