Square Buys Evenly
San Francisco-based Square said today that it has acquired Evenly, a developer of mobile payment apps which were geared at helping users send and collect payments from friends. As part of the acquisition, Evenly said it would be shutting down its services as of January 15th. Evenly said its team will be joining Square to work on Square's products.
