Tactus Gets Series B Funding

Tactus Technology
, a developer of tactile screen technology, said it has closed the first funding in a Series B funding round. Size of the round was not disclosed. According to the company, the funding came from Ryoyo Electric Corporation (Tokyo), along with other financial investors from Asia. The company also said its earlier investors, including ThomVest Ventures, in the round. The deal came along with a partnership deal and distribution deal with Ryoyo. Tactus develops technology which allows touchscreens to provide tactile feedback--actual buttons which rise up about of a touchscreen's surface--driven by software.
