Aviate Acquired By Yahoo
Mobile app developer Aviate, a developer of mobile apps which simplify the interaction of users with mobile phones, has been acquired by Yahoo. Financial details of the buy were not announced. Aviate was founded by Mark Daiss, Paul Montoy-Wilson, and William Choi. The company had been seeded by Andreessen Horowitz, Highland Capital Partners, Freestyle Capital and Draper Associates.
