Sunnyvale-based
Supertex, which develops high voltage, analog and mixed signal integrated circuits, has been acquired by
Microchip Technology, the two companies announced this morning. The deal was worth $394M, or $33 per share, and has an enterprise value of $246M, after accounting for cash at Supertex. Microchip said the acquisition expands its position in medical, industrial, and lighting markets.
