, the developer of educational, robotic toys for children aimed at teaching kids how to become software programmers, has raised $8M in a funding round. The Series A funding came from Madrona Venture Group and Charles River Ventures. Play-I's toys can be controlled by a smartphone, and teach basic programming skills to kids as young as 5 years old.
