One Medical Group Books $40M In Funding
San Francisco-based One Medical Group, which operates a network of doctor's offices aimed at primary care, has raised $40M in a funding round. The new funding came from Redmile Group, and also included Google Ventures, Benchmark, DAG Ventures, Maverick Capital and Oak Investment Partners. One Medical Group runs a network of primary care doctor's offices, in San Francisco, New York, Washington DC, and elsewhere, which lets patients book same-day appointments online, lets patients communicate with doctors using email and more.
