Google Ventures Backs Flatiron Health
Mountain View-based Flatiron Health has raised $130M in a Series B funding round from Google Ventures, along with First Round Capital, Laboratory Corporation of America, and angels. Flatiron said it will use the new funding to acquire Altos Solution, a provider of electronic medical records information. Flatiron Health develops cloud-based products. The company's founders were behind advertising technology company Invite Media, which was acquired by Google in 2010.
