Vaurum Gets $4M For Bitcoin Exchange Software
Palo Alto-based Vaurum, a developer of Bitcoin software for financial institutions, has raised $4M in a seed funding round. The startup, led by Avish Bhama, said the funding came from Battery Ventures, Tim Draper, and Steve Case (founder of AOL). Vaurum is specifically targeting its Bitcoin exchange software at banks and brokerages, for them to manage Bitcoin for their own customers.
