Apple Paying $3.2B For Beats Electronics
Cupertino-based Apple looks to be paying approximately $3.2 billion for headphones maker and streaming music provider Beats Electronics, according to multiple reports--plus a leaked YouTube video from Dr. Dre. Details and confirmation of the deal have not yet been formally announced by the companies. Los Angeles-based Beats Electronics has two businesses, one in providing stylish headphones to music consumers, the other in a subscription, streaming music service.
