Apixio Lands $13.5M
San Mateo-based big data analytics software developer Apixio, which is focused on health insurance plans, said Monday that it has raised $13.5M in a funding round. The Series C funding was led by Bain Capital, and also included a number of Silicon Valley angel investors. Apixio, led by Shawn Dastmalchi, develops big data analytics software to help optimize insurance reimbursements from Medicare and Medicaid.
