Amobee Buys Adconion, Kontera
Redwood City-based advertising technology developer Amobee said last night that it has acquried two companies, paying $209M for online advertising company Adconion, and paying $150M for contextual ad technology provider Kontera Technologies. Amobee said it will use the two acquisition to strengthen its position in the digital marketing technology area. The Adconion deal was valued at $235M, and included both Adconion Direct North America and Adconion Australia.
