Patreon Gets $15M For Creative Crowdfunding
San Francisco-based Patreon, a crowdfunding site focused on helping creative people fund their projects, has raised $15M in a funding round. The funding was led by Index Ventures, and also included Atlas Venture, Charles River Ventures, SV Angels, Freestyle Capital and others. Patreon's site focuses on helping musicians, artists, and others fund their creative endeavors.
