Santa Cruz-based tuul, a company developing text messaging services to help companies manage customer support, said Tuesday that it has raised $1.7M in a seed funding round. The funding was led by Greycroft Partners, and also included Raine Group, Streamlined Ventures, and angels. tuul is led by Toby Corey, and says it is developing "tuulBots", automated products to help with customer support via text messaging.
