Facebook's Oculus VR Buys Raknet
Oculus VR, the virtual reality headset and technology developer owned by Facebook, has acquired another, videogame technology company, Raknet. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Raknet develops C++, networking engine software which helps develops connect games across networks, including coordinating gameplay and game objects, and more. Raknet was based in Aliso Viejo, California.
