Yahoo Buys Zofari
Mountain View-based Yahoo has acquired Zofari, a developer of local recommendation apps and software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. The startup--which likens itself to a Netflix or Pandora for places--will go to help Yahoo with its own products. Zofari said its apps will continue to be available on the App Store, Google Play, and the mobile web.
