Athos Finds $12.2M For Wearables
Redwood City-based Athos, a developer of wearable sensors which monitor heart rate and breathing and transmit them to a smartphone using Bluetooth, has raised $12.2M in funding. The Series B funding was led by DCM, and also included True Ventures, Social+Capital Partnership, as well as individual Joe Lacob (owner of the Golden State Warriors) and Jermaine O'Neal (NBA player for the Warriors).
