Oracle Acquires Front Porch Digital
Redwood Shores-based Oracle said over the weekend that it has acquired Front Porch Digital, a developer of content storage management technology. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Front Porch Digital--which was based in Lafayette, Colorado--develops content storage management software used to manage digital media content, such as high definition films and TV shows, medical images and records, and real-time security monitoring feeds.
