EatWith Chomps Down On $8M In Series A
San Francicso-based EatWith, a startup which helps connect people with others for social dinners, has raised $8M in a Series A funding, the company said this week. The funding was led by Greylock Partners, and also included Genesis Partners and angels. EatWith helps people connect with people in local homes around the world, via a marketplace of hosts who open their homes to others. The company caters to both vacationers as well as others just looking to connect offline. EatWith is led by Guy Michlin.
