TIBCO Acquired By Vista Equity In $4.3B Deal
Palo Alto-based business intelligence software developer Tibco said this morning that it has agreed to be acquired by Vista Equity Partners, in a deal worth $24.00 per share in cash, or approximately $4.3 billion. TIBCO said the sale came after an "extensive process" including a number of strategic and financial buyers. The company had been rumored to be in the end stages of a private equity acquisition last week.
